FLORIDA
Correspondent Dennis Martin e-mailed these Molda-A-Rama pictures from Florida, with many other odds and ends, back in August of 2001, and I never got around to working with them (darn that 9/11!). It’s high time I added these fine pix:
Specimen: Alligator

Collected: 2001

Price then: unknown

Location: Florida Turnpike

Inscript: “Florida Turnpike”

Color: Bronze

Ahrrrrrrr! Specimen: Pirate

Collected: 2001

Price then: unknown

Location: Florida Turnpike

Inscript: “Turnpike”

Color: Red

Rick Koch sent these, and many other figures way back in 2000. Boy, am I lousy in keeping things up.
Specimen: Gator Wrestler

Collected: 2000

Price then: unknown

Location: Gatorland, Orlando, Florida

Inscript: None observed

Color: Green

Note: This is an unusal figure in that it doesn’t have a base with inscription. Perhaps the sculptor was making it look like they figures were wrestling in the water!

Specimen: Alligator

Collected: 2000

Price then: unknown

Location: Gatorland, Florida

Inscript: “Gatorland”

Color: Reptile Green

Note: Looks like the same mold for the Florida turnpike figure (seen here is reverse angle).

Specimen: Rattlesnake

Collected: 2000

Price then: unknown

Location: Gatorland, Florida

Inscript: “Gatorland”

Color: Green

Note: Don’t know about you, but I think Gatorland looks like more fun than Epcot; and the souvenirs are less than $20!

Specimen: Flamingos

Collected: 2000

Price then: unknown

Location: Florida, possibly Gatorland

Inscript: None observed

Color: Pink
